Skynet, the University of Limerick Computer Society under the unfailing cajoling and enterprising persistence of Dave Dolphin has put together a fine line-up of technical and non-technical personalities for your Valentine's Weekend enjoyment. Randall Munroe (of xkcd fame), Christian van den Bosch (Ireland's premier Open Streetmap Mapper, or at least Cork's equivalent ;-) ) and many more people will be there to talk about what they are doing, where they see technologies going, and in the case of some of the open source projects on display, how you can best contribute to them.
Entry is a cost covering exercise at a mere €5 a head for the day, it's all taking place on the University of Limerick Campus on Saturday 14th February, and you can find more information on the Skycon website. Hope to see you there...
