The Register reports that Vodafone will be switching to DRM free MP3 content this Summer. This follow in the footsteps of Apple and iTunes Plus who rolled out a DRM free service last January.
Let's hope that the common sense gradually gripping the DRM debate will spill over into the music copyright infringement discussions, and the corporate music industry will realise that there is a new marketing model that meets the needs and desires of their consumers better.

The second take at the ILUG (Irish LInux User Group) AGM takes place today in the Irish Computer Society office in Dublin. After an initial struggle to make the projector work effectively, we're now well underway with a talk on IPv6 from Marlow. Great to see that a real WISP in Ireland is carrying IPv6 traffic, and delivering it to end users.
